STORM

STORM needs forever home please!

Storm is a 4.5 year-old Pocket Bully. She arrived with us from pound kennels after being dumped!!! She was briefly in kennels with us but very unhappy and Tony Berlin of The Dog Hub kindly offered to foster her for us and work with her.

Tony says... Storm is small, compact, and an absolute bundle of fun. She is a true cuddle monster – once she snuggles up, she’ll happily stay there for more. Storm brings real joy and a zest for life into the home. She listens, wants to learn, and is very easy to live with.

Around the house she’s a delight, always keen to be involved in whatever you’re doing. One of her favourite things is “helping” in the garden – she’ll follow you everywhere with a ball in her mouth, convinced she’s part of the team. Her enthusiasm for life is infectious and she genuinely will put a smile on your face every single day.

Storm is still learning not to pull on the lead, but she’s keen and responsive and enjoys working with her people.

With other dogs :

Storm is selective about who she wants to engage with. She is generally not a big fan of other females and prefers space – she can walk alongside them but doesn’t like close or confrontational interactions. With most males she does well, and when she likes a dog, she really likes them. In her current foster home she has been happily playing and running with larger male dogs.

At this stage, Storm cannot be trusted off-lead with other females, as if she misreads a situation she may react. Because of this, she needs an owner who understands her boundaries and does not expect her to be everybody’s friend. She could potentially live with the right male dog, but ideally Storm would love to have her own humans to snuggle up to and feel secure with.

Storm would not thrive in a very busy, dog-heavy environment or somewhere she is constantly expected to tolerate other dogs. She is perfectly happy ignoring them, as long as her needs are met by her humans. She has done incredibly well living in a dog-heavy foster home, but all interactions are carefully managed to keep everyone calm and settled.

If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, and you don’t want a dog who needs to socialise with everyone, Storm could be the perfect match. She is funny, loving, full of character, and will bring happiness and laughter into your life every day.
