QUEENIE
Looking for forever!
You may remember that beautiful Queenie arrived with us in June, severely lame. She had suffered a fully ruptured cruciate ligment at some time in her life and had been in severe pain for some time.
Surgery was arranged and she was admitted to Southfields Veterinary Specialists in Basildon in June. As Queenie suffers for postoperative haemorrhagic bleeding disorder (DEPOH) she spent 3 days in recovery before returning to us at Arundawn.
We had hoped to find a foster placement for her to recover fully but were unable to do so and so she has spent the last 6 weeks with us in a temporary pen indoors with the Shelter Pack.
She will be having her final post operative checks in a couple of weeks and is looking for her forever home.
This girl is spectacular in more ways than one! She is sweet natured, affectionate, playful, dog friendly, fine with children (tested 7 yrs and up), living with all shapes and sizes of dogs old and young. Once she is fit again she just loves to play and we will be looking for a home who understands her needs.
Could you offer Queenie a home? Apply!
