Needs a quiet home to build his confidence
Nemo is a striking, two-year-old Cane Corso who is a "big, soppy baby" in a large dog’s body. He arrived to pound kennels shut-down and quite fearful but very rapidly began to trust staff and revealed a gentle, submissive, and affectionate personality.
He’s a big, soppy boy and once he forms a bond he is all tail wags. He seeks reassurance from people but has shows no reactivity at all.
He’s finding the kennel environment a little overwhelming so we are hoping to find him a foster home where he can build his confidence, continue with his learning and lead walking and gain a full assessment.
He has proven to be submissive with other dogs, happily existing around them and will keep space and watch, although being in pound kennels we cannot fully assess. With the right measures in place to fully separate, we feel he will live with a female dog quite happily.
