LULU
VERY URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE
This morning, Lulu's owner passed away unexpectedly. Her owner had, we understand, been poorly for a while and Lulu has suffered as a result - she is believed to be 9 yrs old.
She has not been out of the home for at least the last 3 years!
Lulu is affectionate and a sweet natured dog and and she has been signed over to us to find her a new home after taking care of her needs.
She has a very distended abdomen and her lymph nodes are significantly enlarged. Her body condition is poor as she has no muscle tone at all.
We had bloods run, a quick abdominal scan and the nails that she would allow clipped now sorted.
Her teeth are appalling and she is now on a course of antibiotics to see if the raised lymph nodes are due to infection and hoping that they are not as a result of lymphoma.
Luna is a bright girlie and seems remarkably good considering and is enjoying the company of other dogs.
We do not feel it is right to place her in a kennel as she is clearly grieving having been with her owner when they passed away and having been just the two of them for a very long time. So for now, she is settled in with the shelter pack but this is quite daunting for her. We do have a fabulous foster offer in place if meets and greets go well.
Please share Lulu so we can get her the help she needs!
