LARRY LURCHER
Larry is looking for an experienced, patient, and loving home for a beautiful lurcher who has already been through so much in his life. This gentle soul has endured abuse and mistreatment before arriving in our care, and he needs a very special person / family to continue the care and enable him to progress further.
Larry was rescued in 2024 and has been part of the Arundawn 'family' ever since.
Larry will be a flight risk - though massive improvements since the early days – Due to his past, he is extremely nervous and may bolt if scared. A secure garden with high fencing and a commitment to lots of on lead walks will be essential in the foreseeable future - especially with changes.
He has damage to his skull - we presume due to being injured prior to arrival so he needs a calm and understanding home where he can feel safe.
Larry can be shy initially but is incredibly loving once he feels safe. He would thrive in a calm home with no young childre and another calm and confident dog or more
Since he arrived with us he has come on in leaps and bounds and he LOVES walking and going on outings. He loves all people once he feels secure and confident
He is a very special boy .
