HOLLY
Holly is a 6.5 year old neutered Female Miniature Poodle.
She was handed in to a vets after showing some concerning behaviour around a child in her original home.
She has now been in a brilliant foster home for the last 10 weeks & is well assessed & ready to find her forever home.
We have had many applications & calls for her, but so far haven’t had what we believe is the right home offer.
She was initially anxious & cautious, showing some guarding behaviours. She has blossomed into a delightful companion through patience, love & plenty of walks.
She is at her happiest running around outside with a pack of dogs of all sizes, interacting with them & paddling around in mud & ponds.
She would benefit from living with one or more larger dogs. This is probably the optimal set up. She may be okay as an only dog if she will still get plenty of socialisation & play time with other active dogs.
She is in foster with a dog walker & getting 2-3 hours of interactive, stimulating exercise every day. She has good recall & can enjoy the freedom of being off lead for much of her walks.
When her needs are met, she is a delightful companion. If they are not, we fear she may revert back to showing the undesirable behaviours that caused her to be relinquished.
She is NOT a dog to sit cuddling her humans all day.
She won’t be homed with children.
Although she is 6.5 years old, she really benefits from plenty of exercise & stimulation.
A BIG ask, but we feel her perfect home would be an outdoor lifestyle with plenty of space & socialisation
Please only apply if you have read the above information carefully and can offer her what she needs.
