MAGGIE
Maggie has been with us for a long time as she was quite a complex dog when she arrived. She is a 'Hancock' lurcher and is 8 yrs old now.
She has done so well here but as she has got older she has become wary / fearful of the younger sight hounds who are here and in and out and seem to pick on her.
Maggie needs the company of another dog - ideally a calm male and loves to walk.
She is an affectionate and loving girl who would like nothing more than her own home -rather than sharing with the 'rabble' that live here with us.
She loves to hunt ... so no off lead unless in a secure field.
No cats or small furries but she is good with children (tested with 7 yrs plus).
Maggie is spayed and in fine health and a delightful girl who can walk for miles.
We feel Maggie would be happier in a calmer environment than we can offer. She can be lead reactive (barks) if unsure so a confident companion again will help.
