BADGER
He was living in London before being handed into Battersea - he really struggled in this environment and sadly Battersea put him on code red as they felt he was not rehomeable, although we have no idea why! He’s never shown a single ounce of aggression - he is a loving and affectionate dog who adores his walks!
He came to join us approx 1.5yrs ago and is a wonderful happy boy! He absolutely loves to play and loves other dogs
There is however a BIG BUT - he is absolutely terrified of travelling in a vehicle - he arrived shut in the dark in a small purpose built travel cage in the back of a Battersea van and has never got over this.
So he needs a very special home someone who has a large outdoor space for him to run around, or who has access to walks without the need to travel. He also needs another dog, ideally female but happily lives with both sexes.
It would be great to have someone who has time to work daily with encouraging him to get in and out of a vehicle without force or fear as he is very scared and panics trying to get him into a car, so he will need lots of support to build his confidence with this!
He walks beautifully on lead and truly is such a wonderful dog. He’s looking for foster hopefully with a view to forever.
