Trooper is a young lad - we have been told he was likely abandoned out of a vehicle and then subsequently hit by another car fracturing his hind leg.

He had surgery and has recovered nicely in his foster home.

Trooper is now ready for his forever home.

He is a lovely boy - is playful and dog friendly and has no issues running around with his friends following his recuperation from surgery.

We've had a good update from his fosterer as he has definitely come out of his shell since recovering from the accident. He is becoming a lot more confident and is definitely no wilting violet - according to his fosterer "he thinks the L on his L-plate stands for Leader" so we think his ideal situation would be a home in the countryside with at least one other playful dog who can match his energy levels.

He is very affectionate and engaging but not for a first time lurcher owner.

His recall is absolutely rubbish so his fosterer takes him to a secure field most days for a proper run around. The view is that he would be off like a shot otherwise.

Trooper will guarantee you will have a lot of laughs, loads of cuddles and possible several "Trooper you absolute nutter!" moments if he was part of your family.

Trooper needs to be rehomed with at least one other dog, preferably female and with similar energy levels.
