MINNIE & PYE - A VERY SPECIAL HOME REQUIRED PLEASE
Minne and Pye are 2 delightful young whippets whom we are currently looking to rehome together. Pye has very limited light/dark vision so we are looking for a calm rural home with people who understand that Pye has some special requirements about how his environment is set up so that he doesn't trip over unexpected obstacles. Both Minnie and Pye love children.
They would love a secure garden of their own to run around in comfortably as they are not yet ready for the wider world. Both dogs are very petite and could easily be knocked over by more boisterous dogs, but would definitely benefit from a calm older dog to help them "learn the ropes".
Pye relies on Minne to help navigate the world. Minne is a confident little girl and seems to be very smart - she is rather good at solving puzzles - especially if it involves treats. Pye has a gentle curiosity about the world - he is not put off by new experiences and makes up for his lack of sight with a very sharp nose and ears.
Pye is missing one eye and needs surgery to remove his remaining poorly functionin eye - this will be done prior to adoption. Otherwise both are in good health and have lovely temperaments - they are fine meeting new people (treats do help) and they are really easy to handle.
They have had a very sheltered life up to this point and will need help with toilet training and getting used to the normal noises of a regular home, however they seem to have taken everything in their stride since joining Arundawn.
