With massive thanks to Kenan Daw, who dropped everything this morning to collect Lyra from the St Giles Animal Rescue near Taunton and bring to meet Chris halfway ....
Lyra is an Arundawn Dog Rescue girl - we rehomed her in 2021.
We received a call two days ago from another rescue saying she had been signed over to them and they had traced her to us ... the previous owner had not been honest and stated she had been unable to get hold of us ... As many know - my phone is on 24/7 and we have multiple ways of being contacted.
She has always lived with another dog and we felt strongly that she needed company ... she is home with us today and 'Aunty Sally' is dutifully ensuring she gets support and cuddles ...
She has eaten well, is quite quiet and a little overwhelmed but so grateful to St Giles for contacting us and know she will be fine now.
