DARCIE

Darcie is a mixed breed maybe Pointer/Spaniel/JRT mix at a best-guess.

She has been with us since last Sunday and is currently indoors with the pack.

She is not yet 18 months old and is approx. 18"TTS.

She is highly intelligent and I am pretty certain would make the most incredible agility dog.

She LOVES people - is too energetic for some of our more placid oldies and will need plenty of exercise ...(Off lead)...plus Training and mental stimulation.

She is not cat tested, but she has met my grandchildren so 10yrs and up are fine.

She can be a little food guardy with other dogs but this is/was to be expected as she was starving on arrival.

She is looking for a home as soon as possible, and if you are looking for a fun and amazing little family rocket to go out on lots of adventures with then she is your dog!

She can live with another/other dogs, or may be ok as an only dog as long as someone is around a lot of the time and can/would work up to her being left.

I have a feeling that in the right home this will be a very special girlie ...

UPDATE 21/10 - Darcie is now in foster

UPDATE from her foster family: -

'This lovely young dog is just 17 months old and has been in foster for us to fully assess.

Darcie (Or Darla as we call her) is such a sweetheart!

She's super affectionate and loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa however with plenty of energy and being extremely smart, she's the perfect match for someone who enjoys training, agility, or flyball.

She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is really trusting of people, which just shows how loving she is.

It's hard to believe this adorable girl hasn't found her forever home yet—she would make someone incredibly happy!

Even though her mix of pointer, spaniel, and JRT might sound like she'd be a big dog, she's actually quite small, about the size of a spaniel.

Darla equally enjoys both her walk and time to nap, making her the perfect companion for all kinds of adventures and relaxing!

I absolutely love having her stay with me while she waits for the perfect family'

If you think you might be the forever family this wonderful dog is waiting for please complete our application form, thank you.
