DANCER

This stunningly beautiful young dog is STILL waiting for her forever home.

You may remember she arrived from pound kennels heavily pregnant and gave birth 3 days later.

Dancer is only a baby herself, approximately a year old - another example of the irresponsible people out there supposedly guardians of these lovely animals!

She is in foster for us after her puppies left for their forever homes ... She is now ready to find her forever home with this fabulous information from her foster family.

We've been fostering Dancer for nearly four weeks now, and what an absolute gem she's turned out to be.

Dancer just wants to be close to you (and give you licks!). She's incredibly affectionate and will happily curl up for a cuddle whenever she gets the chance. Her favourite spot is lying on her back on the sofa, belly up, snoring away loudly. She's sweet-natured with a wonderfully goofy side and has been making us laugh with her lovely personality.

As a house guest, she's been brilliant. She is house trained and happy being left for a few hours (she will just sleep on the sofa or in her bed). She knows basic commands like sit and paw. She's easy-going in the house, not bothered by the hoover and not much of a barker, she is happy to snooze away all afternoon after her morning walk.

Out and about, she is a social girl. She loves her walks and is always keen to greet other dogs and people. Her recall is pretty solid when she's focused, though like most dogs, other dogs can be a bit distracting. She's improving well with lead walking, there's still pulling when she is excited to get somewhere, but she's learning well and responding to gentle guidance.

Dancer would suit a home where she'll get plenty of love, regular walks, and some playtime. I think she would love to make some doggy friends out and about on her walks. She's honestly such a lovely dog, and her new family are going to be very lucky to have her.

She is dog friendly BUT very bouncy so will need time to settle if with another dog.

We feel she will be better with a male and we have had her playing in the paddocks her with a couple of lovely (and fast) male lurchers ... she loves to play!

If you feel you can give this fabulous young dog her forever home please complete an online application form.
