BUGSY
Meet Bugsy - a brave and resilient 2-year-old little mixed breed (Cairn-type) who has already been through so much but is proving to be a true fighter!
Bugsy’s Story:
When he arrived, he was in a heartbreaking state—severely disabled, unable to use his hind legs properly, and dragging himself around, causing painful damage.
He also suffered from severe bilateral cherry eye, an appalling flea infestation, and terribly neglected skin.
On top of all this, due to the pain and neglect he’s endured, he is hand-shy, especially around his eyes.
The Good News:
Surgery & Recovery – We have had surgery to correct his cherry eye, but sadly, one side has failed and will need to be redone next week.
Neurological Progress – Amazingly, despite his initial condition, his mobility is improving beyond what we ever expected! He still needs support, but he is showing incredible determination.
Gentle, Loving Soul – Despite his tough start, Bugsy is a sweet little guy who just needs patience, love, and care to help him blossom.
We Need a Dedicated Local Foster!
To continue his recovery, we need a special foster home willing to commit to his ongoing care and rehabilitation. We are looking for someone:
Local to us for vet visits and ongoing support
Patient and gentle, allowing him to build trust and confidence
Willing to help him regain strength and mobility
Able to administer post-op care after his second surgery
Bugsy is already proving that he wants to fight for his future—he just needs someone to help him get there.
Could you be the one to make the difference?
Please get in touch if you can foster Bugsy and help him on his journey to a full and happy life!.....
