Buddy is a 13 yr old Jack Russell terrier who tragically finds himself needing a new home due to his owner's illness and inability to care for him.
He is NOT the easiest little chap. We have found, since being in foster, that he really does need the company of another dog - ideally a small, calm one of either sex.
Buddy has never lived with cats that we know of but seems totally disinterested when out and about. He would NOT be suitable to live with children.
He is currently in foster near the Kent/Sussex border. Buddy really needs a home where there is someone around all the time as he does suffer with separation anxiety and he does have toilet 'accidents' in the house. He adores other dogs & enjoys sharing a bed with his fosterers other male JRT.
Buddy loves his short, regular walks and playing with his toys and really likes snuggling up on a lap for a cuddle.
His eyesight is not good, he has had a full dental recently and is a much happier dog since. He can be a little grumpy / possessive over toys/food and his person. I think we can safely say he would be a bit of a 'Victor Meldrew' if he was a human - BUT he is contented and happy all the same.
So in short - we KNOW he will not be an easy boy to find the perfect end of life home for but we really hope we can. Thank you for reading - please contact us if you can offer this boy his perfect home.
