BEAR

Bear is a medium/large sized crossbreed who is in search of a foster home experienced with larger dogs where we can have him neutered and fully assessed to get him ready for his forever home. Preferably pet free as he is entire and needs to learn to calm down. He is a solid boy so may be too much for small or nervous dogs as he really loves to play and horse around.
​
Initial assessment is that he's a bit anxious about new things - he isn't the type of dog to run up to new people - he will take his time and responds really well to gentle encouragement, cuddles and of course treats! While a bit shy around new people, he gets excited around other dogs and can become a bit rambunctious. He has a goofy side once he gets to know you and loves attention from his humans.

We would only rehome him with children over 10yrs old as he may accidentally knock younger children over when playing.

He has not been assessed with cats.
​
He isn't a fan of a lead but once on he will settle down.
